About us
Who's behind the bench
Useful things to tell me: how the business started, your background (are you on the job yourself?), the year you started, where you're based, what the first coin you ever made was, and anything you want customers to know before they hand you a project.
O'Houlihan Designs builds custom challenge coins, patches, pins and badges for police, fire, EMS and military units. Every piece starts as somebody's idea — a unit patch, a promotion, a retirement, a brother or sister lost in the line of duty — and the job is to get that idea into metal or thread without losing what made it matter.
Placeholder pull-quote — a line about why you do this. One sentence, in your own words, is stronger than a paragraph of marketing copy.
How we work
One person handles your project from the first sketch to the box on your desk. You get free artwork before you spend anything, revisions until the design is right, and photos of the sample before the full run is made. If something isn't what you approved, we make it right.
If there are unions, associations, PBA locals or organizations you're a member of or have worked with, list them here. Same for any veteran- or first-responder-owned status — that carries weight with this audience.
Where we are
Based in New Jersey and shipping nationwide. Local departments are welcome to hand off artwork and pick up finished orders in person.
Three short quotes from happy customers, with a first name and the agency, do more work than anything else on this page. Ask a few of your repeat customers for a sentence and I'll drop them in here and on the home page.
